Questions?
We make this easy.
A few quick answers before you come to create, celebrate or spend time together.
Do I need a reservation?
Small groups can simply drop in. For groups over 6, we recommend reserving a table. For more than 10 painters, email us or call 781-235-0400.
Is there a studio fee?
Never! You pay the marked price of your chosen project. Supplies are included, and pottery glazing and firing are included too.
How long can we stay?
There’s no time limit for creating during our open studio hours, 10am–6pm. Table reservations may display a 1.5-hour block to help manage seating. Parties and drop-off programs have their own scheduled durations.
Do I need to be artistic?
Not at all. You choose the colors and make it your own. Our team will explain how everything works and help you get started—there’s no right or wrong way to create here.
Are adults welcome?
Absolutely. Kids, teens, college students, adults, parents and grandparents all belong here. We’re a great place for date nights, friend outings and team events.
Which projects go home the same day?
Plaster, canvas, candles and slime go home the same day. Charm and gem projects do too. Pottery stays with us for glazing and firing. Fired pieces are food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
How does pottery pickup work?
We glaze and kiln-fire your pottery. It’s generally ready in about a week and is food-safe after firing. Our team will explain pickup when you visit.
How much does a visit cost?
The final cost depends on what you choose. There’s no separate studio fee. Prices are clearly marked in the studio, so you can choose a project that suits your budget.
Do we all have to make the same thing?
For a casual studio visit, everyone can choose their own project. Party and group menus are planned with our team so we can prepare the right activities for your event.
Which birthday party should I book?
Fun Size parties are for up to 10 participants in a semi-private area of our main studio. Private-room parties are for up to 50 participants. Each has its own menu and pricing.
Is the $100 private party fee a deposit?
It is a separate party fee, paid at booking. It reserves your date and private party room and covers face painting, dedicated party staff, games, setup and cleanup. It is added to your chosen party activity price.
Can I bring birthday food to a regular table reservation?
Please use a party booking for celebrations with food, snacks or cupcakes. A regular table reservation is for coming to create. Contact us if you need help choosing the right setup.
What ages are the drop-off programs for?
School-day-off workshops are for ages 4–12; children must be potty trained. Flexible drop-off sessions are for ages 5+. Check your selected program listing before booking.
Do you have parking and accessible entry?
Yes—there are 100+ free parking spaces, and the studio is wheelchair accessible. We’re at 380 Washington St., Wellesley. For our entrance and parking, use 11 Laurel Ave in your GPS; we’re at the back of Playhouse Square.
Can you host corporate events or large groups?
Yes! We help plan team building, office parties, scouts, school groups and celebrations. Group events can be arranged for up to 100 painters. Explore adult and corporate parties, then contact us for your setup and quote.
How do I buy an e-gift card?
Visit our e-gift-card checkout to select an amount and delivery options. Call or email us if you have questions about using your card.
What are your hours?
Open seven days a week, 10am–6pm. Holiday hours and scheduled program times may differ; contact the studio before a holiday visit.
